The Women in Public Affairs Executive Committee is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and organisation of the Network.
Ella Fallows, Co-Fouder
Weber Shandwick
Ella is Head of UK Public Affairs at Weber Shandwick, and formerly Outreach Manager for Northern Europe at Meta. She co-founded Women in Public Affairs with Laura Gilmore in 2012.
Previously she was Head of Political Intelligence at Lexington Communications and before that she managed political engagement programmes at Dods, ran parliamentary and policy training and worked for two Labour MPs. She has a Masters in Parliamentary Studies from Leeds University and a BA in Politics and History.
She's passionate about promoting and supporting women in all industries. She loves good food and travel, although she has a young son who prevents her enjoying either of those things regularly!
Laura Lotinga, co-Fouder
NESO
Laura is a highly experienced communications and public affairs director with extensive knowledge of corporate communications and government relations at national and European levels. She joined NESO as Director of Corporate Affairs in January 2025.
Previously, Laura was Corporate Affairs Director and Chief of Staff at Cummins Inc where she spent seven years leading this function in the European region. Before that, Laura was Head of Public Affairs and Campaigns at Dearman for three years. She was also Head of the House of Lords Whips’ Office, during the Liberal Democrat and Conservative Coalition Government.
Laura holds an MA in EU Politics from the University of Liverpool, a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and is currently undertaking an Executive Coaching certification at Henley Business School. She is passionate about people and diversity and is an active charity Board Trustee at Hackney Night Shelter.
Lucy Warren, Co-Chair
Betting and Gaming Council
Lucy is the Head of Public Affairs the BGC - the trade association representing the UK's betting and gaming industry - where she leads on government and stakeholder relations, as well as overseeing strategic campaigns.
Previously, Lucy worked for public affairs agency Crestview Strategy where she supported a range of UK and international clients on public affairs, regulatory affairs, grassroots mobilisation and advocacy.
Lucy is a keen advocate for creating a workplace with gender parity and sees creating a pipeline of future female talent within the organisation as a personal priority. She previously ran the secretariat for the Women and Work APPG and is a mentor with I Have a Voice.
Kendal sefton, Co-Chair
Avanti West Coast
Kendal is a Senior Public Affairs Manager at Avanti West Coast, where she shapes the company’s engagement with government, industry stakeholders, and local communities across the network. With a background in both corporate and political communications, Kendal previously held roles at Heathrow Airport and Field Consulting, a specialist public affairs and communications agency.
Alongside her day job, Kendal is committed to advancing women in the public affairs sector. She has sat on the Executive Committee of Women in Public Affairs since 2024 and became Head of Events in January 2025, curating opportunities for women to connect, collaborate, and thrive through WiPA’s events programme. Kendal is also a mentor for the youth-led organisation I Have a Voice, supporting the next generation to engage with politics and public life.

Eve is a Senior Consultant at Pagefield – a leading integrated communications consultancy based in London – providing public relations, corporate communications, and public affairs support to clients in a number of sectors, including property & infrastructure, logistics, and higher education. Eve is accredited in public policy analysis through the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).
Previously Eve worked at Rostrum, an independent corporate comms agency, where she specialised in financial services. Eve has a degree in English Literature from Queen Mary, University of London.
Janette aquilina, head of Campaigns

Janette is Government Affairs Manager at International Airlines Group (IAG), one of the largest airline groups in Europe. In this role, she helps lead the FTSE 100 company’s engagement with senior government and political stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives that support IAG’s business objectives and policy positions.
Previously, Janette worked for a large food trade association and the British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, managing high-level Government and industry stakeholder relationships.
On the weekend she can be found exploring new art galleries or sipping wine in a pub with her dog Maple.
JULIE BYERS, head of Communications

Julie is the Senior Government Affairs Manager for Domino’s Pizza UK & Ireland, where she leads their Government and Parliamentary engagement. She has considerable experience working in trade associations, most recently as Public Affairs Manager at the Food and Drink Federation. Prior to that, Julie was Public Affairs Manager at the Association of Convenience Stores.
Julie has a degree in Politics from the University of Surrey, where she explored the representation of women in NBC’s The West Wing in her dissertation. Outside of work, Julie enjoys weightlifting.
Jennifer Watson, Co-Head of Events
iNHouse Communications
Jen is an Account Director and Policy Lead at iNHouse Communications, a Westminster-based Public Affairs consultancy. She leads award-winning accounts across energy, infrastructure and transport sectors. Prior to this, she was Head of Policy and Research at Best for Britain where she led the work of the APPG on Coronavirus and the UK Trade and Business Commission.
Outside of work Jen loves to try out the newest wine bar, spin class or hosting dinner parties.
Sophie Fischer, Co-head of Events

Sophie is a Senior Account Manager specialising in Public Affairs at FleishmanHillard UK where she supports clients across a variety of sectors from food and drink to beauty and cosmetics.
Prior to joining FleishmanHillard, Sophie worked on President Joe Biden’s 2020 election campaign and supported Democratic Congressional campaigns right across the US.
Outside of work, Sophie can be found at a football game, in the kitchen baking, or settling down with a good book.
KATRINA RATTU, communications officer

Katrina currently works as the Public Affairs Manager for UCL where she has a focus on science, research and policy. She previously worked in academia looking at the intersection between policy making and academia including exploring the various mechanisms that will inform and influence policy makers as well as leading to an increased take up of research in policy making. She completed the Local Government’s Associations (LGA) Graduate Scheme and the National Graduate Development Programme (NGDP), and set up a Policy Network and co-founded the BAME staff network at a local authority.
Outside of work Katrina can be found producing podcasts and creating content for TikTok. She is passionate about building inclusive cultures and holds a Level 7 in Leadership and Management from the ILM.
Krisha Indrakumar, Events Officer

Krisha is a Senior Account Manager at Connect Public Affairs, where she works across the energy, transport and housing sectors supporting projects for major developers, trade bodies, and public sector clients.
Prior to joining Connect, Krisha worked in the office of Anneliese Dodds MP, supporting her in her then-role as Shadow Cabinet Member for Women and Equalities. During her time in Parliament, she worked engaging with local and national government, constituents and resident community groups.
Outside of work, Krisha enjoys keeping up with US politics, running and shopping.
Francesca gallagher, Events Officer

Francesca is an Account Director in the Corporate and Responsible Business team at communications agency, Brands2Life. She works with clients across retail, sustainability and technology sectors, to devise and implement effective integrated communications campaigns.
Francesca is passionate about creating an inclusive, empowering culture in the workplace. Outside of work, you’ll find her enjoying new shows the West End has to offer or exploring new countries.
Tamsin Melville, Campaigns Officer

Tamsin is a Senior Associate at DGA, an integrated communications agency, where she supports clients across the transport, health, and technology sectors. She has led high-profile campaigns to improve access to menopause treatments, champion regulatory change in the beauty and wellbeing industry, and raise awareness of challenges in the childcare sector.
At DGA, Tamsin also sits on the gender committee and volunteers with I Have A Voice, helping young people engage with politics and public life. Before joining DGA, Tamsin worked for an MP in Parliament and earned her master’s degree from SOAS University.
Outside of work, she can usually be found training for her next running or triathlon event or on a mission to find the best sandwich in South London.
Anne Perham, Communications Officer

Anne is an Account Manager at Field Consulting, working across the transport, housing, energy and planning sectors. She is also qualified in market research and is part of the firm’s Insight team.
Anne joined Field in September 2023, having previously worked for the Conservative Party’s political research team, where she managed stakeholder relationships and ran the party’s nationwide phone canvassing operation. She has also worked at Integra, project managing events and delivering communications for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacons project and the King’s Coronation.
Outside of work, Anne co-hosts a podcast, enjoys travelling, and is (slowly) learning how to play golf.

Anthony Nolan
Nele is a Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, where she leads the organisation’s Parliamentary engagement, including providing the secretariat to the APPG Stem Cell Transplantation and Advanced Cellular Therapies, and various health policy projects focusing on patient wellbeing.
She recently obtained a Masters in International Relations from the University of Bristol, focusing on the ethics of UK immigration policy. Outside of work, Nele can be found exploring the various gigs and theatre shows London has to offer.
