The WiPA Survey 2023 is live!

This year, the Women in Public Affairs annual survey focuses on pay transparency in the sector. 

Following a campaign survey this summer, over 70% of WiPA members voted for WiPA to focus on pay transparency, so we’re taking a deep dive to understand how we can better support your calls for more transparent and equitable policies in the sector.

Last year's 2022 WiPA survey revealed that transparency in the industry has not increased significantly in the past year. The most striking change has been an 11% increase in job adverts not disclosing salaries compared to last year. 

Just half (50%) of public affairs employers across the public and private sector publish their maternity policy, and only a third (34%) publish their gender pay gap.

We want to see whether the industry has made any improvement and to explore how we can push for faster progress.
